Born and raised in Japan, Nana has been a Harlem habitat for 3 years. Living a short train ride from Tokyo, Nana spent her adolescent years roaming the Shibuya district and mirroring the fashions that she saw. Finding inspiration from the magazines Can Cam and ViVi, Nana knew she wanted a future in the editorial world.
Educated in Fashion Merchandising from Berkeley College, Nana has worked as the liaison between the Japanese and the US fashion markets. As an editor and researcher for infomat, Inc., Nana explores the Asian market, focusing on Japan to further expand the globalization of fashion. Able to provide unique insight into the Japanese/American fashion relationship, Nana lives a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, and multi-inspired life. |
